Basic Skills Lesson
- Groundwork activities include learning how to safely approach, halter, and lead a horse. In addition, participants learn how to groom a horse using the correct tools and also learn the points (parts) of the horse.

- Participants enjoy learning basic horseback riding skills including how to safely mount and dismount a horse, properly hold the reins and steer the horse, correct seat, and how ask a horse to halt and move out.

- Horse themed crafts, interactive games and fun music is enjoyed through out the day and gives participants an opportunity to be creative.
